Forest Stewardship Plan
• Must be prepared by all forest agreement holders under the Forest Act
• Term of 5 years, and contains a description of the forest development units where harvesting/road building may occur
• Must specify results or strategies that describe how the holder will meet the objectives set by government such as soils, timber, wildlife, water, fish, biodiversity, visual quality, cultural heritage, recreation, invasive plants and, natural range barriers
• A new FSP needs to be submitted in the next year.
Management Plan
• Links the community and their values to the management of the Community Forest Agreement
• Established an annual allowable cut for the Community Forest Agreement
• A new FSP needs to be submitted in the next year.
One Cutting Permit
• Covers the entire Community Forest and allows for road building and harvesting.
• Active for 4 years. Current Cutting Permit CC expires October 25, 2025
